Napatingin ako was orasan.

Baby Boy Glo: Huwaaat?

Pero ika nga ni Sugar...they are just friends.

Juice koh!

Blogger: Ha???? Baket?

Imu: It's all Chix's fault!!!

Blogger: Huwaaat?

Chix: Uy, no ah...I'm not doing anything!

Chix: Meron nga...pero I don't know to him.

Imu: Opo. Ang laki nga ng katawan eh. Tapos ang sweet pa nila.

Blogger: (tumayo ang aking balahibo)

Nakakaaliw ang buhay buhay nila....

Haaaay.....ma-mi-miss ko ito.

2gether 4ever

Together forever and never to part
Together forever we two
And don't you know
I would move heaven and earth
To be together forever with you

Me and you and you and me
No matter how they toss the dice, it has to be
The only one for me is you, and you for me
So happy together

Gummy Candy: Cge nga, cge nga...dance, dance, dance!
Sino bang may paper bag jan?
Big Mac: Nyahahaha.

Go, go, go!

Go, Dyesebel ng Kalinga!

Nagtawanan na naman ang mga lalake. Mahilig talaga silang mang-asar.

Tsk! Lagot ka kay "Mano Po 4 - Ako Legal Wife"!!!

I walked...on mud

I was thinking bad thoughts...issssshhhh!!!!
I swear...one of these days... I'll kill a taxi driver...grrrrrrrrrrrr!
My shoes are ruined...they are fully caked with mud! OMG!

Our place (Barangay San Vicente) shows evidence of the last storm that past by a week ago. We have rip-raps that collapsed, we have one light post that fell, we have a big land slide that made the roads disgustingly "un-walkable".

Anyway, so there I was...planning the menu for tonight's dinner. I got out from the supermarket and hopped on the next available taxi. I was already mentally cooking the Chicken Mami soup while cruising the roads of Baguio.

By the time that we reached Milton House, "Saan, sa kanan?"
Manong driver was asking me which direction, to which I answered "Opo."
We noticed that there was a lot of traffic on our narrow barangay road, "Sinara na naman ata yung Camp 7," Manong driver observed.

I kept silent...but I felt a sinking feeling. If Camp 7 is closed...that would mean that it would be hard for a two way lane traffic. Our barangay has a lot of rich people that can afford cars but can't build their own garage...thus, the two lane road becomes a narrow one way lane.

Packsyet.

When we reached the intersection, Manong driver cursed, "Ano ba namang putik ito!"
Again, I was silent...then all of a sudden, he stopped, there were 3 vehicles in front of us...waiting for Manong to back up his taxi so that they could pass. But because of the mud, his tires won't allow him to do so.
"Dito ka na ading. Ayaw nilang magpabigay!"

"Eh packsyet naman eh! Ang layo pa kaya nung lalakarin ko! At saka ang putik noh! Gusto mo akong maglakad diyan?! Eh di walang kwentang nagtaxi pa ako! Ayokong magbayad!"

I did not of course say that. My parents did a great job in molding my respect for elders. I kept my resentment to myself, paid Manong driver, quietly picked my two heavy grocery bags...and walked on mud.

Nagkatinginan kaming tatlo. Napangiti ...hangang sa tumawa.

Blogger: Hay naku naman! Matatagalan si Chocolate Mallows dahil sa kanya!
Mango Girl: Oo nga...
Ms. Phone Giver: Inaantok na aku (hohum).
Blogger: Tsk. I-blo-blog ko toh!
Mango Girl: Ahahaha...ano kayang code name niya? Hmmm...Apple Cinnamon!

TITO BOY for President!

United States of America would be voting for their next president on November 4, 2008.
Believe it or not...this is the first time since 1928 that no incumbent (president and vice president) will be running for office again.
So far, as of May 2008, based on online articles, people leading the pact are senators from different states namely: Republican John McCain (Senator of Arizona), Democrat Barack Obama (Senator of Illinois) and another Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton (Senator of New York).
If your interested as to who's leading by how much between Obama and Clinton...here's a snapshot (from Wikipedia)

Ok...so enough about American Politics. In my opinion, whoever becomes the president of their nation...Philippine Government still beats 'em (sa pagkakurakot at pagkanepotispo)!

Which brings us to my title: TITO BOY for President! Nyahahah...don't get me wrong...I love Tito Boy. He does not seem to exploit his talents for the mere profit of things. And sadly...sometimes (ok, most of the time), Filipinoes would solely base the capabilities of a candidate on how famous he or she is on TV. I am not discrediting the celebrities who goes for position. I am just saddened by the fact on how most of us depend solely on media to formulate our opinions and decisions.

Joker Arroyo:I hate her. She's evil!
Mango Girl: Bakit naman po?
Joker Arroyo: Hay naku!

Truth to be told, mukhang marami talaga ang inis sa kanya.

Nyahahah...does it fit her? Well..I for one cannot really comment on that.

Ay...ito..bagong feature: Escabecheng Baka...if you've guessed yourself...my blog is open for your side.

He said...She said...

He said:Maybe, it's wrong to say please love me too
'Coz I know you'll never do
Somebody else is waiting there inside for you
Maybe it's wrong to love you more each day
'Coz I know he's here to stay
But I know to whom you should belong

She said:Sa kanya pa rin babalik sigaw, ng damdamin

He said:Let me lay down beside you
There's something you should know
I pray that you decide to
open your heart and let me show
enchanted worlds of fairy tales
a wonderland of love
these are things that I promise
my promise to you

She said:Now, I know I wasn't thinking before
That's why I'm always ending up with Mr. Wrong
Learning from the past, don't wanna make a mistake
You could be Mr. Right or could be a fake
You know I like you but I don't wanna take the risk
So confused and I don't know how to deal with it
Need some time for awhile before I give my heart away

Blogger: Hay lord! Mister He..your so dense pare! She's still obviously inlove with Mr. Wrong. At ikaw naman Miss She...juice koh! Gumising ka nga! You're so martyr! TSK!

Hanu ba itoh!!!! This time, I will not have any disclaimer.

Mango Boy: (whisper, whisper, whisper)

OMG!

(makalipas ang ilang sandali...)

Blogger: Oist! Mango Boy...do youhave a shift? Why are you here?
Mango Boy: I have po...

Blogger: Owws? Eh why are you not logged in? You just came in to see Mango Girl noh?
Mango Boy: Coach naman...(blush, blush)...you're making intriga (smile, smile).
Blogger: (sa aking pag-iisp..) Harrruuu....intriga daw...eh kung makangiti...hasus!

OFFSHORE OUTSOURCING : Are we good enough?

I work with SITEL for 3 years now. SITEL is known as one of the big call centers in the Philippines that countries like the US would like to employ to provide technical assistance and customer service to their US customers.

I am a team lead for AT&T account, one of the accounts that Sitel Baguio cater to. It is an account that I daresay...gave me the backbone that I have now. Aside from the fact that it is the bread and butter of Baguio site...it is also the toughest account.

We have agents that would usually be so eager to join us...and then be so eager to leave as after 3 months time on the floor.

As a team lead, we get to do brain storming sessions...how do we lessen attrition? Is our people here ready to the culture that this industry requires? Are we hiring people that can withstand American bluntness (as well as rudeness)?

When I get to see the number of people that gets employed because of outsourcing (according to Reuters: 320,200 Filipinoes at the end of year 2007), I can help but feel optimistic. In general, outsourcing and the call center industry is a young industry in the Philippines. It may be shaky at first...especially when we usually cater to different countries with different "culture"...but we are good enough...we're good enough to deal with it.

Internet Service Providers here and abroad

I work in a call center..we provide technical support to AT&T customers and with it, we also strive to give outstanding customer service. We breathe and live outstanding customer service (well...ideally...that is...). Thus, I tend to demand the same level of service when I am the customer.
I answered a survey about customer service in Dneero..and it made me think...what's AT&T's rank when it comes to their American customers...here's the ranking that I got.

According to Market Research.. these are the top 7 ISPs in America:

Rank 1: SBC (AT&T) - 18.3 million subcribers, market share is 18.6%
Rank 2: Comcast - 13.2 million subcribers, market share is 13.5%
Rank 3: America Online (AOL) - 9.3 million subcribers, market share is 9.5%
Rank 4: Verizon - 8.2 million subcribers, market share is 8.4%
Rank 5: Road Runner - 7.9 million subcribers, market share is 8.1%
Rank 6: Earthlink - 3.9 million subcribers, market share is 4.0%
Rank 7: Cox - 3.7 million subcribers, market share is 3.8%

In the Pihilippines, we have fewer choices...and on the top list are: Globe Broadband, Smart Bro and PLDT DSL.
So far, according to friends...Globe Broadband is byfar leading in votes. I have not experience their service yet....but...right now, Smart Bro sucks. I am definitely going to cancel service by November!

What can you do with $600?

I was doing a deep dive analysis with one call...it was a bad call. It did not receive any survey yet...but most likely, it will be a failing survey. Customer was saying that the agent should not say "I understand..." when he knows that the agent would not really understand what it is like to lose $600 worth of salary in 5 days.

Customer even said: "Don't tell me that you understand, coz I know that you don't! Because you're just being paid around $10...and you get to be so damned happy about it already! So don't you dare say that you understand...because I know $600 is something that you could never comprehend!"

I opened my calculator...$600 dollars is more or less 25,000 pesos in the Philippines.

I told myself: "Gagu itong customer ah. Eh anu ngayun kung bigshot siya? Does the give him the karapatan to make lait. Hmph!!! NakuUUUUU...pasalamat siya at di ako nakabarge nung time na toh...kundi....nakkuuuuuu...."

Tapos...nung ako'y nahimasmasan na....

Tama siya. $600 in one week...damn! At this moment, if you are an agent, the 25k in one week is something equivalent to a delusion.

Hayzzz...meow.

Team Aphrodite - the original

Yesterday...Today

There are times when you can't help but say..."I wish I could go back...". Why do we say it? Is it because we regret what we are right now? Do we regret the decisions that ultimately led us to where we currently are?

Personally...I would like to go back...so that I could escape the responsibilities that I have right now. Sometimes...it just gets too overwhelming.

I would like to go back when things were a little less complicated...when the only worries that I'd be thinking is where my next gimmick would be. Would my friends and I cut class today so that we could watch the latest movie in the cinemas? What would be a good excuse so that mom and dad would allow me to sleep over Jam's place? What would be the best sweater to match my ohh so maroon uniform (City High, Science, Batch 2001...yeah!!!)?

I would like to revisit the times when I'd be worrying if tasting margarita would be a little more legit rather than drinking gin blue with pomelo mix...besides...I was already 18. I'm basically an adult. And I'm in college having the time of my life! I was doing good with my grades (most of my grades...that is) and I was on the Dean's list even after having my class cards dropped at the Student Affair's Office more than once (mom does not know this...ahihihi...ssshhhushh).

It would be great if my only next worries would be what great book would I be considering next. Would I be going for hard core romance? Or would I be buying something that would scare me to the bones? Would my friends have a copy of Johanna Lindsey's latest novel? I wonder if "The Prince" is already available in paperback. I think I'd be checking out CID or Book Sale to make sure that I can get it for a cheap price (nyahaah...kuripot!).

But then again...after spending precious time pondering about the past. I get to think...If I am not where I am right now, I will not have made such new great friends. I will not have the privil
ege of going to places I only dreamed of going to before. I will not be able to help my family financially. I will not be able to prove to myself that I can be successful at the career that I have chosen (Team Lead, Sitel Baguio).

I will not have found the love of my life... (ayun eh!)

Source1: May problema to...

Blogger: O bakit? Yung churvalu niya?

(nyahahah - not the exact words...but we don't want to be too obvious)

Ayokong padalos-dalos. I might burn bridges (edited ito...para maging susyal ang conversation).

Source1:

Source2:
Di ah. Alam ko naman yung limit ko. Pag may trabaho, trabaho muna. Tapos, 20min every yosi break.

Blogger: Tsk-Tsk-Tsk. Alam mo, parang gobyerno yan eh...kung ala magrereklamo...ala gagalaw (ahehehehe).
